Hi, I’m Jon Dillow, the counselor behind What Healthy Couples Do.  Early in my career, I realized the things I’d been taught to help couples with conflict didn’t work.

Sure they helped a little.  Better communication: “I feel” statements, reflective listening, etc… they weren’t without impact but as soon as one partner was pissed off, hurt, or scared the communication skills meant nothing.

I wanted to find a way to approach conflict that worked; that resolved issues, built connection and empowered each partner.

This course will teach you that approach.  If you're ready to transform your relationship sign up today.

I've been where you're at...

The conflict in my relationship had become toxic, frustrating, damaging, and was threatening to end my relationship.

The “communication skills” learned in my training as a counselor made only marginal difference.  I personally needed a better way.

Using my M.A. in counseling and my B.S. in chemical engineering I set out to discover what the most recent peer reviewed research had to say about conflict.

Out of this journey I develop an approach to conflict that focuses less on communication and more on each partner learning science backed skills to manage their emotions.  Doing this, each partner was able to move towards resolution and deeper connection during conflict.

I’ve been teaching this approach in my private practice for over a decade and have seen 1000s of couples transform their relationships.

If you’re ready to put an end to damaging conflict and actually resolve issues and build intimacy then you’ll love this course.

What Healthy Couples Do

I've been running my own private practice for the last 20 years.  In that time I've helped thousands of couples build intimacy, navigate conflict, and heal wounds.

Prior to getting my MA in Counseling and starting Jon Dillow Counseling I was a Chemical Engineer.  It makes for a unique counseling approach.  One that combines the "art" of counseling and peer review science to support the approaches I take with clients.

If you're interested in help for your relationship that addresses complex emotions while using science-backed interventions then you'll enjoy the material from "What Healthy Couples Do"
